Dear Parents,
One of the main reasons to train Self-Defence is to protect our own health and well-being. Carefully we were reading the news, consulted experts in the field and followed the steps of the Cyprus government in relation to the current development of the Corona Virus in our country in the past weeks.
After a long and serious consideration of all aspects and factors, we have decided to support the government’s efforts that aims for minimizing the cases of new infections by closing almost all businesses, schools, kindergartens, sports clubs, gyms and other venues. The main idea is to gain time and have the virus evolving slowly, so that the medical system of the country can take care of all people in need.
Supporting the government’s directive as well as feeling responsible to do our share in protecting all inhabitants of our country and particular the most vulnerable groups, e.g. the elderly and people with a medical history who need all our help, we have decided to close all our schools as from today.
The schools will also be closed during the Easter Holidays until provisionally 22nd April, 2020, depending on the further development of the virus and the government’s directives and recommendations. We are thoroughly reading and assessing all news and will be ready to open for regular classes as soon as this will be possible.
The classes that you missed within this time that we are closed (particularly the two weeks of March 2020), will all be replaced as soon as the schools are open again.
